I had one of the most amazing tours with a superb tour guide today going to Aquila Private Game Reserve to see the big 5. First off regarding my tour guide Werner, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and just fun to be with a great conversation and even a few jokes here are there. Werner pick me up this morning at my hotel and drove me in a luxury car to a beautiful winery where we had a lovely wine tasting, then we were off with one other stop along the way to a local farmers market type of shop where we were able to browse and pick some delicious treats. Then finally we arrived at Aquila private game reserve where he handed me off to an experienced game reserve officer who gave me a private tour on this beautiful reserve you were able to see almost every one of the five largest animals in South Africa, the leopard being the most elusive. But other than that, it was a wonderful experience, which I would never forget after that he diligently drove me back to my hotel in Cape Town and left me with the wonderful hotel staff at the Portwood hotel.
